Yes, I had to look up how to spell continuum….but that is not what this post is about.
On Thursday morning I will board a jetplane to fly East to the big, big city of Toronto to get my blogging geek on at two conferences called She’s Connected Conference 2012 and Blissdom Canada 2012. I should be over the moon BUT…..I don’t feel like I’ve had the space or the time to even realize that I’m going.
You see, I just got back from Anaheim on Sunday. What was I THINKING when I booked two trips so close together? I didn’t have a lot of choice, though because the dates of both trips were fixed. It was what it was.
This week has been a whirlwind of work, unpacking, costume shopping, houseguest visiting, packing (hopefully soon) and tummy pain (think I may be getting an ulcer….boo). While I am heading head long towards a fun filled weekend with some of my favorite bloggers, I can’t help but wish I could push pause….take a breath….sit down for just a minute….and breathe.
Instead, I will whirl one more day and hopefully by this time tomorrow night I will be packed and ready to go…because ready or not, I will be on that jetplane on Thursday & I will be winging my way to Toronto.
One day I will have all the space and time that I lust for today but….I won’t be having nearly as much fun.
