I’ve passed this wee little flower two or three times in the last week. Every time I thought “I should take a picture of that & post it.” Well tonight I finally did. I love that it has lived, thrived and bloomed even though it’s in the middle of the sidewalk.
On days like today when: Evan started kindergarten, I forgot his first day pictures at work, we found out he needs glasses, and I’m feeling icky because of the weight I’ve gained this summer, I have to remember that I can still bloom even with all the things going not so great around me. I also have to give myself a break and remember that my worth is not measured in pounds!

Poor Evan…my older son has glasses too. Venus has a great line for kids…very hip and cool. Good luck!
Thanks, Dana! I’m not sure what brand these frames were. To be quite honest, they were cute and I am not overly hopeful they will last that long on a 5 yr old anyway.
But isn’t it also true that when you see a kid wearing glass, looks cute? Like Harry Potter?
