…but now when you visit you can drink wine. We interrupt this regularly scheduled blog to bring you a bit of news from the home front (Alabama). You see, the county I grew up in was a dry county (aka no alcohol sales) FOREVER. It is a very religious part of the country and no one ever admitted to *gasp* drinking alcohol!
Well….someone must because today they voted for the town where I went to high school to go “wet” (allow alcohol sales). So now all the underground drinking that has gone on since the dawn of time can come above ground and my town can actually collect tax revenue on it.
AND….
I can have a glass of wine when I go home.
It’s almost like Christmas!

This makes me giggle. Yes, family is always easier to take when inibriated. Oops- did I say that out loud?
