Somehow it snuck up on me.
This guy….he’s starting school in less than a month.
OMG….when did he get old enough to start school?????
It’s been pretty easy from a school supplies point of view. Our school supplies everything so we don’t have to buy anything. Or that is how my husband would look at it. Me? I’m a nerd. I LOVE buying school supplies. I am CHOKED that I don’t get to buy him scented markers or new pencils or scissors.
Oh well. I did get to buy him the UGLIEST shoes ever made for his indoor shoes. They have lights that flash twelve ways to sunday and they look like they are 23 times bigger than his skinny little legs. I did not want to buy shoes that ugly that he can only wear at school but…..I did. Sigh. He also got a pretty cool Angry Birds backpack. You know he LOVES the Angry Birds.
So….Evan and Raweewan are seizing the last gasps of summer with loads of playdates, the zoo, etc and I am trying to forget that my baby is growing up.

I know! Just yesterday he was teeny & I was still on maternity leave. Yeesh.
It cracks me up when I put shoes on Max because they really do look 23 times bigger than his legs! Hope Evan loves school and we will be here to console you on his first day.
