After 4 solid days of unpacking, our house is beginning to feel like home. We still have a TON of boxes to unpack but it’s getting there. I still have a few issues to deal with (that I currently am stumped by) like where to put all my shoes. I had no idea I had so many. I have an entire box of shoes that I have no where to put. We’ve also run out of closet space. Our closet is big but it was obviously designed by someone who didn’t have many clothes b/c it is one big example of wasted space.
Tonight I finally got to head out on a walk to get a better idea of our neighborhood. It’s definitely a neighborhood in transitions but I love it. We’ve met more neighbors this weekend than we ever met in our old suburban neighborhood. Love that! I think that’s what I’m most excited about….becoming more a part of a community.
Here are a few pics I took while on my walk:
Our new view….after a bit of a hike.

Great! personally I am very social and always try to stay connected to the nieghbors and the community. I am always aware of who is coming or going to the locality and help them in whatever ways I can.
I loved the pictures that you have posted, especially the one that has a painting om the wall! Really interesting

I’m glad to hear you are all moved in. Enjoy the community… if I lived there I know I’d eat too much ice cream, lol!
