Spring is almost here! While I know that many of you have been tiptoeing through the tulips for weeks, here in Calgary it is still snowing. I can’t wait until the snow is behind us and I can wear opened toed shoes every day!
I was lucky enough to get to review a pair of Viking sandals. First I headed over to Baker Shoe Company to determine which style was for me. I picked the “Gladiator” style because it was so different from any sandals I have in my closet. I was a bit worried because I am always afraid to order shoes online. I shouldn’t have worried because there was no issue at all. Viking sandals use European shoe sizes but I easily found a shoe size conversion chart and “Voila!”. A few days later a lovely pair of sandals arrived at my door.
Did I mention the snow?
I haven’t gotten to wear my sandals very often because my piggies would be frozen into little piggy-pops. I have been wearing them around the house though…you know…in the name of research. They are super comfy and I can totally see wearing them this summer. I like that they stay on nicely, have an even walking surface and have a comfortable cork footbed. If I were to change one thing, I might have gotten a style that didn’t cover quite so much of my foot….I’m going to have crazy tan lines!
I was provided a pair of Viking Sandals to review as part of a promotion through Influential Media (www.influential-media.com). All opinions are my own.
