Happy October! Am I the only one that can NOT believe it is already October? It seems like time is speeding by at break neck speed. Oh well…what can you do? October is one of my favorite months. I love Halloween, and football and seeing all my friends at our annual work conference. Oh and I love everything pumpkin. This year I AM going to make some pumpkin recipes even though my family doesn’t quite share my love for it. Over to Pinterest I ran to find recipes to try.
The other day I absolutely HAD to have a pumpkin cream cheese muffin. I have eaten these in the past from Starbucks but, honestly, I think their baked goods have gone down hill in the last few years. These days they are always cold and gummy. I broke down and bought one anyway and it was quite good….not as good as in past years but still good. I think these will be better….

And look at this one…..Pull Apart Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Bread. It looks a bit complicated for me but I just may try it. Anyone want to come over & bake it for me??? Anybody?

As I mentioned before…pumpkin and cream cheese are a match made in heaven. Which I guess is what makes these dessert bars look so darn heavenly.

And last but not least…..if you buy too much pumpkin and get tired of pumpkin-o-rama…..make pumpkin butter! We love apple butter around our house and I bet pumpkin butter would be just as yummy. Like pumpkin pie on toast!

I love putting pumpkin in the pancakes I make. My kids don’t normally like other fruit added to their pancakes, but pumpkin anything is a hit in this house.
I love pumpkin foods so much – my absolute favorite is a pumpkin roll someone I work with makes. I’ve never been able to make one well myself.
Sometimes I put pumpkin puree in my oatmeal in the mornings! And I love pumpkin pie…with whipped cream of course
Not a fan of pumpkin pie, but I do love pumpkin muffins etc. I’m going to have to do look up some recipes.
I saw that Pumpkin Bread on PW/TK and was actually thinking I might like to try it as well, maybe we should try it together, it seemed rather intensive.
I love baking with pumpkin! I just checked my blog for recipes that I shared…pumpkin banana muffins, pumpkin cake, pumpkin cookies & pumpkin spice latte. Yummo!
I pretty much love pumpkin anything but the last favorite pumpkin recipe we tried and loved as a family was pumpkin streusel bread. mmmm….http://burntapple.wordpress.com/2010/11/15/pumpkin-streusel-bread/
